Bungalows and Rates

Volcano Island Paradise offers basic accommodation with fantastic views of Mount Yasur. You can see the lava glowing at night! The bungalows are made entirely of local materials and constructed in the traditional local style. All are equipped with solar panels so that the rooms have light at night, and ensuring that the bungalow is entirely eco-friendly.

Meals are available in the dining hut. Breakfast is complimentary.

Cost:
5000 vatu per night.

There are currently 4 bungalows.

Bungalow 1:
Double and single bed.

Bungalow 2:
Double and single bed.

Bungalow 3:
Double and single bed.

3 single beds.

Camping

You can pitch your own tent and sleep under the stars.

Cost:
1500 vatu for 1 night, per tent.

Transfers

Our bungalows are located in the heart of Tanna, walking distance from the volcano. We can meet you at the airport. The drive is scenic and takes about 1 hour + 10 minutes.

Cost:
5000 vatu for a single one way.
5000 vatu for a couple one way.

Local Food

We have a little restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food while admiring the view. Kava is also available for everyone to try.

Meals are prepared by the owner’s wife, Susie. Fresh fruits and vegetables are organic and locally grown.

Breakfast:
Complimentary during your stay.

Lunch:
1000 vatu.

Dinner:
1000 vatu.

Amenities

Bathroom facilities are shared.
There is a western style flush toilet.
Showers are modern, but cold water only. Don’t worry, the weather in Tanna is warm all year round!
